“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
They say the secret to your success is found in your daily routine. Making small changes will result in big differences! You just have to decide that you’re tired of the old and ready for the new.
Much like the resolutions we discussed last week, making actual change in yourself and your life won’t be EASY. It’ll take effort, dedication, and strength! But you have to realize that you deserve the positive outcome ahead; and remember, not all positive change will feel positive in the beginning.
Usually the first step is the hardest, and that’s becoming aware of our own bullshit. Sorry, but it’s true! You have endless amounts of potential, but until you get so fed up with your own repetitive actions, you won’t go for it! Whether it’s kicking a bad habit, starting a new routine, or simply wanting more out of life–you have to acknowledge the things holding you back. Take accountability and don’t stop until you’re proud!
I’ve been told that “if you want to change the world, start by making your bed…” Sounds silly at first, but if you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. Doing that gives you a sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another and another! SMALL. VICTORIES. MATTER. Don’t ever discredit the efforts even when they seem simple.
Set your goals and intentions, dream big, and never give up on yourself! Break things down into smaller daily tasks, making them more manageable and less discouraging. Reward yourself for your achievements and do not lose sight of your “WHY”.
“Success is achieved by ordinary people with extraordinary determination.” Let’s go out and be extraordinary! I believe in you, do YOU!?
Until next time,
Keep moving forward, darling!
