• Discipline Your Disappointments

    I’m sure you can relate to the well-known feeling of disappointment, lack of motivation, and fleeting inspiration… Not great is it? That’s why learning to control the way we react is so important! I had a zoom call this week with my MONAT girls, and we were discussing the topic of discipline–especially when we’re discouraged. Truth is, you won’t be on top of your game every single day. There will always be struggles and failures but that’s what makes us better!     E-X-E-R-C-I-S-E   Oh the infamous (sometimes daunting) activity that we’re all too familiar with… As a kid, I could NOT spell that damn word to save my life. Always finding a way to add a random “Z” somewhere, and probably a few extra vowels too. Lord help me!     There’s something about LOVE that equally excites and terrifies us all at the same time. Whether it’s a romantic love with a partner, the platonic love of a friend, or even the sincere love you have for yourself, it’s all so important.   LOVE means being open & vulnerable. Which is hard…it can be so so difficult. For some, it comes as naturally as breathing air in and out, for others (myself included) it does not! And that’s okay.
